MARC XIRAU
General Manager Partner
Marc has a passionate interest in meeting professional and personal challenges.
This is perhaps why he loves the sea, sailing and adventure and what inspired him to found LEYMAR.
Born in Barcelona in 1969. He graduated in Law from the Universidad de Barcelona (1993), and in Political Sciences (1994) and in Media Sciences (1994) from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
Marc began his professional career with Arthur Andersen Legal & Tax Consultants (now J&A Garrigues), where he spent four years, specialising in taxation in large asset holdings and in investments, both in Spain and abroad. He then became a Partner of AAMC Abogados, where he was in charge of the tax division.
In 2003 he founded LEYMAR and he is the General Manager Partner. He is responsible for the firm’s expansion at both national and international level and for setting the strategies of the practice. Marc makes a point of getting to know each client personally, and coordinates all the business entrusted to the firm.
He has published several articles in specialised press.
He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and French.
