MERCÈ MORENO

A defender of the type of town planning which was developed from the use of common sense.
Once she has managed to shake off town plans, she loves to travel without maps.
Born in Barcelona en 1970. She graduated in Law from the Universidad de Barcelona (1993). She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
She is a lecturer of Administrative Law at the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña (UIC), Law Faculty.
Mercè began her professional career with the Barcelona Town Hall, specialising from that time in urban management and complementary to this in Administrative Law. In addition to her work as legal adviser to property developers and town councils, she has also provided specialist advice to Iberian law firms and real estate consultants such as Promo Assessors Consultors, Meirinho & Associado and Aguirre Newman Urbanismo.
She is partner of LEYMAR and is in charge of the Urban Planning and Administrative Law division. Mercè has wide experience in the field of the urban planning, urban management and administrative litigation.
She has published several articles in specialized press.
She speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, French and Portuguese.
